Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Ausblick beleuchtet die Autorin die tiefgreifenden Veränderungen, denen der Arbeitsmarkt unterworfen ist, und zeigt auf, wie sich Menschen in der beruflichen Neuorientierung sinnvoll anpassen können, um im neuen Umfeld erfolgreich zu sein. Dabei geht sie auf fünf Schlüsselbereiche, die besonders stark betroffen sein werden, ein: sich wandelnde Jobprofile, Anpassungsfähigkeit und lebenslanges Lernen, flexible Arbeitsmodelle, digitale Kernkompetenzen sowie menschliche Fähigkeiten und Soft Skills. Das Werk schließt mit einer Botschaft der Ermächtigung ab, die Menschen in der Lebensmitte ermutigt, die Kontrolle über ihre Karriere zurück zu gewinnen und in der sich ständig weiterentwickelnden Arbeitswelt erfolgreich zu sein.
