Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die vorliegende Fallstudie analysiert die Einführung von ESG-Praktiken im Dahlhausen-Konzern im Kontext der europäischen und deutschen Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung. Ausgangspunkt sind die Entwicklungen ab der UN-Klimarahmenkonvention 1992, über das Kyoto-Protokoll bis hin zum Pariser Abkommen und der Agenda 2030. Der European Green Deal von 2019 und die EU-Taxonomie-Verordnung von 2020 prägen die aktuellen ESG-Vorgaben. Die Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) erweitert die Berichtspflichten, die ab 2025 auch den Dahlhausen-Konzern betreffen. Die Implementierung umfasst einen strukturierten Projektplan, eine Status-Quo-Analyse sowie eine Wesentlichkeitsanalyse nach den ESRS-Standards. Ziel ist es, Nachhaltigkeitsrisiken und -chancen zu identifizieren, Berichtsprozesse zu optimieren und durch eine ESG-Reportingsoftware eine effektive und prüfungssichere Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung sicherzustellen. Die Integration nachhaltiger Aspekte in die Konzernplanung zielt auf langfristige Verbesserungen der ESG-KPIs und Optimierung der Fremdkapitalkosten.
