Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Integration von ESG-Kriterien in Unternehmen ist eine anspruchsvolle Aufgabe, die sowohl rechtliche Anforderungen als auch gesellschaftliche Erwartungen und Geschäftsmodelländerungen berücksichtigt. Besonders im Kontext von M&A gewinnt ESG zunehmend an Bedeutung, da es nicht nur die Bewertung und Due Diligence von Unternehmen beeinflusst, sondern auch die Integration nach einer Transaktion. Mangelnde Berücksichtigung von ESG-Risiken kann zu vielschichtigen Risiken führen. Das ESG-Onboarding ist entscheidend, um die Organisation auf die Anforderungen vorzubereiten und sicherzustellen, dass von Führungskräften bis zu operativen Teams, die Bedeutung und die Notwendigkeit von ESG verstehen und unterstützen. Der Beitrag liefert Impulse aus der Praxis zur konkreten Gestaltung des Onboardings mit Inhalten zu Sensibilisierung von Führungskräften, zu Auftakt-Workshops für eine Gap-Analyse, zu Schulungskonzepten, und zu Workshops mit dem C-Level als Auftakt.
