Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Verlagsbranche hat einen bedeutenden digitalen Wandel durchlaufen, der zu neuen Arten und Plattformen der Kommunikation, zu neuen Inhalten sowie zu neuen Geschäftsmodellen und Wettbewerbern geführt hat. Durch technologische Fortschritte hat die Branche einen Wandel von traditionellem Druck zu digital-first Strategien erlebt, die vielfältige Formate umfassen. Der Aufstieg von E-Books, Hörbüchern und dynamischen digitalen Publikationen veranschaulicht diesen Prozess, der die Zugänglichkeit fördert und die Marktreichweite erhöht. Dies hat zu einer Veränderung der Einnahmeströme geführt, mit einer spürbaren Verlagerung weg von traditionellen Printmedien hin zu digitalen Medien. Darüber hinaus haben neue digitale Plattformen und Technologien nicht nur die Art und Weise beeinflusst, wie Inhalte vermarktet und diskutiert werden, sondern auch, wie sie erstellt und konsumiert werden.
