Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Schlusswort des Buches betont, dass der Weg zu echter Gleichberechtigung durch Gender Mainstreaming in Stadtentwicklung aus vielen kleinen Schritten besteht. Es zeigt, wie selbst minimale Änderungen wie neue Beleuchtungskonzepte wesentlich zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität beitragen können. Es bietet einen hoffnungsvollen Abschluss des Buches und ermutigt Städte, sich ein Beispiel an den im Buch dargestellten Städten zu nehmen und den ersten Schritt auf dem Weg zu mehr Gerechtigkeit in der Stadtentwicklung zu unternehmen.
