Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag skizziert das vielfältige Aufgabenspektrum von Interessenvertreter:innen in der Freizeit- und Tourismusindustrie. Neben klassischen Aufgaben wie der strategischen Führung, dem Vertrieb und der Vermarktung verschiedener touristischer Leistungen sind in den letzten Jahren vermehrt neue Aufgabenstellungen im Tourismusmanagement hinzugekommen, die eine Begleitung tourismuspolitischer Entscheidungen notwendig machen. Bedingt durch Herausforderungen wie bspw. Arbeits- und Fachkräftemangel, Digitalisierung, Klimawandel oder auch Overtourism sind tourismuspolitische Rahmenbedingungen erforderlich, um diesen Herausforderungen angemessen zu begegnen. Denn die Tourismusstrukturen sind in erster Linie vor dem Hintergrund föderaler Strukturen, unterschiedlicher Zuständigkeiten und Kompetenzen und verschiedener Akteure aus Tourismuspolitik und Freizeit- und Tourismusindustrie durch eine gewisse Komplexität charakterisiert. Somit zählt auch die touristische Interessenvertretung bzw. das Tourismuslobbying zu den zentralen Aufgaben der vielseitigen Akteur:innen in der Freizeit- und Tourismusindustrie.
