Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel erklärt den Aufbau des Buches anhand der Wertschöpfungskette im Tourismus, beginnend bei der Inspiration und Buchung von Reisen bis hin zu Aktivitäten im Zielgebiet. Jedes Kapitel beleuchtet spezifische Aufgaben und Anforderungen in den entsprechenden Berufsfeldern sowie Aspekte wie Arbeitszeit, Weiterbildung, Einkommen und Selbstständigkeit. Durch Exkurse werden zusätzliche Themen wie Aus- und Weiterbildung, Bewerbungstipps und die Entwicklung von New Work im Tourismus behandelt. Durch die Einblicke in die Vielfalt der Möglichkeiten innerhalb der Branche, bietet dieser Herausgeberband somit eine umfassende Orientierung für Leser:innen, die eine Karriere im Tourismus anstreben.
