Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der strategischen Auswahl von Innovationstools in Unternehmen. Er betont die Bedeutung von Innovation für das Überleben von Unternehmen, beeinflusst durch Faktoren wie Wettbewerb und Marktdynamik. Er stellt 12 Innovationsinstrumente vor und erläutert ihre Funktionen und Anwendungsbereiche. Anschließend erklärt er das „Instrument Selection Framework (ISF)“, einen Schritt-für-Schritt-Prozess zur Auswahl des geeignetsten Innovationstools basierend auf verschiedenen Faktoren wie Zeithorizont, Ressourcenverfügbarkeit und Kerngeschäftsnähe. Das Framework soll bei praktischen, informierten Entscheidungen im Innovationsmanagement helfen. Der Beitrag diskutiert zudem die Anwendung, Implikationen und Einschränkungen des ISF in verschiedenen Geschäftskontexten.
