Abstract

Zusammenfassung Lokal tätige Stiftungen und globale Ziele – Wie passt das zusammen? Die European Community Foundation Initiative zeigt mit dem „SDG Wake-up Call“ einen Weg auf, wie Bürgerstiftungen in Europa ihre lokale Arbeit ganzheitlich an den Nachhaltigkeitszielen der UN ausrichten und zusätzlich ihre Wirkung vor Ort erhöhen können. Dabei wird deutlich, welche Bedeutung der lokalen Arbeit für die Erreichung der Ziele beigemessen werden kann. Der Beitrag skizziert die wichtigsten Hintergründe und zeigt an Beispielen die Möglichkeiten auf, wie Bürgerstiftungen ihr Handeln entsprechend strategisch auf die SDG ausrichten können.
