Abstract

Zusammenfassung Lastenräder haben die Vielfalt der Transportmittel erweitert. Der Umschlag von Lastenrädern auf andere Transportmittel erfolgt am häufigsten von Lieferwagen oder Lastkraftwagen, wobei der Umschlag von der Schiene auf Lastenräder ebenfalls in verschiedenen Projekten getestet wurde. Der Umschlag von Wasser auf Lastenräder ist ebenfalls möglich, und schiffbare Wasserstraßen bieten eine Alternative zur überlasteten Straße. Weitere Untersuchungen befassen sich mit dem Umschlag von der Luft oder von Rohrleitungen auf die Straßen und dem Einsatz von Seilbahnen in städtischen Gebieten. Insgesamt kann festgehalten werden, dass Lastenräder in den meisten intermodalen Logistikketten bereits Anwendung finden oder theoretisch bestimmte Bereiche gut abdecken können.
