Abstract

Zusammenfassung Obwohl das Lastenrad als Verkehrs- und Transportmittel im europäischen Raum seit über 100 Jahren bekannt ist, wirft die rechtliche und regulatorische Situation vielfältige Fragen bei Nutzer:innen, Planer:innen und Bürger:innen auf. Grundsätzlich ist hier festzustellen, dass das Lastenrad ein Fahrrad mit allen Rechten und Pflichten ist. Jedoch bestehen Besonderheiten, die sich aus dem veränderten Fahrzeugdesign und Einsatzfeld im Vergleich zum klassischen Privatrad ergeben. Dieses Kapitel gibt deswegen einen Überblick zur aktuellen Gesetzeslage sowie geltenden Normen und Regularien, die Lastenräder, -anhänger, deren Einsatz in der Logistik und ihre Infrastrukturen betreffen.
