Abstract

This article is aimed at all product people who want to contribute to a strong product organization. Both individual product managers and their superiors will learn how they can best fulfill their various leadership roles. The first part explains how product managers can utilize the tools of lateral leadership to be effective within their product teams. The second part informs disciplinary leaders about how they can be effectively impactful in modern product organizations and how they can empower their product teams, rather than commanding them.
