Abstract

Sustainability is a term that is intensively discussed today, which is further explained here. In addition, the differences between linear and circular economy are elaborated. The openness of customers and companies to the topic of sustainability is worked out based on various studies. Additionally, terms such as the attitude behavior gap, mental accounting, as well as external effects and external costs are deepened in their significance for a sustainable economy.
