Abstract

Zusammenfassung Neue Technologien bieten richtig genutzt sehr große qualitative und ökonomische Potenziale für das Gesundheitswesen. Bei der Entwicklung, Einführung und dauerhaften Etablierung gibt es zahlreiche Herausforderungen, die zu lösen sind. Derzeit können diese nur unzureichend bewältigt werden, da insbesondere an der Schnittstelle zwischen Versorgung und Technik Brüche auftreten. Unterschiedliche Zielsetzungen, Sprachen und Wissen führen dazu, dass Technologien teils nicht ihre volle Wirkung entfalten können oder gar nicht etabliert werden. Um die Schnittstellenproblematik reduzieren zu können, bedarf es an einem Brückenbauer zwischen den Disziplinen, der alle Perspektiven versteht, ohne jedoch selbst tiefgehender Experte eines speziellen Bereichs zu sein. Diese Personen existieren bislang nicht, sodass zu erwarten ist, dass sich ein solches Berufsbild künftig entwickeln wird. Erste Hochschulen haben den Bedarf bereits erkannt und bieten einen Studiengang an der Schnittstelle Versorgung und Technik an.
