Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag untersucht Hospital-at-Home-Modelle (HaH) als innovative Alternative zur stationären Behandlung in Deutschland, um dem Fachkräftemangel und steigenden Gesundheitskosten entgegenzuwirken. Basierend auf Experteninterviews werden Schlüsselfaktoren für die Implementierung von Hospital-at-Home identifiziert und strukturiert. Die Analyse zeigt, dass sich Hospital-at-Home derzeit aufgrund von regulatorischen Besonderheiten, Interessenskonflikten und einem Personalmangel kaum im deutschen Gesundheitssystem abbilden lässt. Hierauf aufbauend liefert der vorliegende Beitrag Handlungsempfehlungen für die Konzipierung eines Pilotprojektes, das sich an etablierten Konzepten der häuslichen Versorgung in Deutschland orientieren kann. Empfohlen werden zunächst krankenhauszentrierte Modelle zur frühzeitigen Entlassung mit einem eingeschränkten Leistungsangebot. HaH hat das Potenzial, Ressourcen einzusparen und zur integrierten Versorgung beizutragen, wenn kontextabhängige Einflussfaktoren berücksichtigt werden.
