Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema des systematischen Managements digitaler Technologien im Public Sector – spezifisch im Anwendungsbereich der Gesundheitsversorgung eines Bundesressorts. Nach der Einleitung werden die Herausforderungen aufgezeigt, die die Einführung und das Management digitaler Technologien im Public Sector mit sich bringen. Danach werden Erfolgsfaktoren aus der Beratungspraxis genannt, die auf einer klaren Strategie basieren, deren Ziele offen und direkt kommuniziert werden. Ein konsequentes Setzen und Nachhalten von Zielen hilft dabei, digitale Technologien in die breite Nutzung zu bringen. Die Bedeutung von Führung sowie die Mitnahme der relevanten Stakeholder wird dabei besonders hervorgehoben. Als Ergebnis des Beitrags kann festgehalten werden, dass die beschriebenen Erfolgsfaktoren nur dann ihre Wirkung entfalten, wenn der Wille zur Veränderung in der Organisation vorhanden ist. Beratung kann in einem solchen Prozess einen entscheidenden Mehrwert liefern.
