Abstract

Zusammenfassung Datensicherung ist in der heutigen digitalen Welt von entscheidender Bedeutung, um Datenverluste zu verhindern und die Integrität von Geschäftsprozessen zu gewährleisten. Dieses Kapitel betont den Unterschied zwischen reaktiven und präventiven Sicherungsansätzen. Eine effektive Strategie umfasst die Klassifizierung von Daten, die Auswahl geeigneter Backup-Methoden und die Entscheidung über den Speicherort. Ein hervorgehobenes Prinzip ist das 3-2-1-Prinzip, bei dem drei Kopien der Daten auf zwei verschiedenen Medien gespeichert werden und eine Kopie außer Haus aufbewahrt wird. Moderne Techniken wie Remote-Backups und Cloud-Lösungen werden ebenso berücksichtigt wie traditionelle Ansätze. Ein gut durchdachter Notfallwiederherstellungsplan rundet die Strategie ab. Das Kapitel schließt mit dem Hinweis auf die Notwendigkeit regelmäßiger Überprüfungen und Anpassungen der Sicherungsstrategie und bietet eine detaillierte Orientierungshilfe zur Erstellung einer Datensicherungsstrategie.
