Abstract

Zusammenfassung In Gesundheitskrisen kommt staatlichen Institutionen als Vermittler von überlebenswichtigen Informationen eine hohe Bedeutung zu. Die Internationale Forschungsgruppe Krisenkommunikation der Technischen Universität Ilmenau untersucht in mehreren Studien, wie Bund, Länder und Kommunen ihre Risiko- und Krisenkommunikation während der COVID-19-Pandemie organisiert und koordiniert haben. In diesem Beitrag werden erste zentrale Ergebnisse mit dem Fokus auf die Herausforderungen und Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten behördlicher Krisenkommunikation präsentiert, basierend auf Gesprächen mit insgesamt 71 behördlichen Vertreterinnen und Vertretern.
