Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die digitale Transformation im B2C-Geschäft behandelt. Dabei wird gezeigt, wie die digitale Transformation von Branchen mit der Nutzung neuer technischer Möglichkeiten durch die Digitalisierung und den veränderten Nutzerbedürfnissen zusammenhängt. Am Beispiel der Musikindustrie werden zwei digitale Transformationen, deren Ursachen und deren Effekte erläutert. Dabei werden Faktoren herausgearbeitet, die eine Abschätzung des Potenzials der digitalen Transformation auch in anderen Branchen erlauben. Im letzten Abschnitt werden Erfolgsfaktoren identifiziert, die bei einer erfolgreichen Bewältigung der digitalen Transformation zu berücksichtigen sind.
