Abstract

Zusammenfassung Den Begriff des Eco-Crash in die Debatte um nachhaltige Entwicklungen einzuwerfen, zielt auf dessen doppelte Bedeutung ab. Darin liegt sein Wert, denn er entschlüsselt Beziehungsgeflechte von vielfältigen Risiken einer komplexen Economy und ebenso vielfältigen Risiken einer noch komplexeren Ecology – beide sind als „Eco“ zu verstehen. Wirksame Risiko-Prävention erfordert aus dieser Sicht eine weitreichende, vorausschauende und vernetzte Aufmerksamkeit, damit sich solche Risiken nicht aufschaukeln und in eine kaum noch steuerbare, sich selbst verstärkende Risiko-Spirale münden. Dazu bedarf es Mut, Einsatz, Kompetenz und Hingabe, um pervertierte Konstruktionen von Wirklichkeiten aufzulösen, die oftmals menschenunwürdige Wirkungen zeitigen. Dem gilt es, engagiert, standhaft und präventiv Paroli zu bieten.
