Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Analyse von Prozessdaten im Gesundheitswesen wird bisher noch wenig genutzt, obwohl sie wichtige Erkenntnisse zur Prozessqualität liefern könnte. Es gibt verschiedene Fragen, die beantwortet werden müssen, um die richtigen Key Performance Indikatoren für die Analyse zu identifizieren. Es besteht das Risiko einer unkritischen Interpretation der Ergebnisse, daher ist eine gründliche Ursachenanalyse erforderlich. Die Nutzung der Daten zur Prozessverbesserung und das kontinuierliche Feedback anhand von Prozesskennzahlen haben positive Auswirkungen auf Qualität und Wirtschaftlichkeit. Es erfordert jedoch ein tiefes Prozessverständnis und klinisches Fachwissen, um das volle Potenzial der Daten nutzen zu können. Teams können durch das Feedback schnell Abweichungen von Sollprozessen korrigieren.
