Abstract

Zusammenfassung Krieg begleitet die Menschheit, seit es die Menschheit gibt. Schon die Schöpfungsmythen strotzen vor Gewalt, vor Konflikten, Intrigen und Schlachten. Das Militärhistorische Museum der Bundeswehr in Dresden beschäftigt sich mit der Geschichte des Kriegs. In den verschiedenen Abschnitten der Ausstellung geht es um historische Kriege, um das Leid der Zivilbevölkerung, um Traumata und um Erinnerungskultur. Aber auch um die Frage, wie sehr die Erziehung schon eine mögliche Kriegsbereitschaft fördert. Etwa durch Spielzeugsoldaten, kindergerechte Kriegslieder oder Kleidung, die der von (Marine-) Uniformen nachempfunden ist.
