Abstract

Zusammenfassung Daten- und Informationen werden heutzutage häufig als einer der bedeutendsten Wirtschaftsgüter unserer Zeit bezeichnet. Das einleitende Zitat steht nur stellvertretend für eine Reihe weiterer Aussprüche, welche die letzten Jahre dominieren. Anderweitig werden Daten und Informationen als das Öl des 21. Jahrhunderts angesehen, der Treibstoff der Digitalisierung. Allerdings herrscht aktuell ein großes Ungleichgewicht zwischen denjenigen, die Daten besitzen und denjenigen die Daten benötigen. Im Rahmen dieses Kapitels werden die Grundlagen und Herausforderungen für den Datenhandel besprochen. Dieses Querschnittsthema bietet die Basis für viele Anwendungen im Bereich KI, Blockchain, Cloud Computing sowie weitere datengetriebene Geschäftsmodelle und stellt gleichzeitig ein neues Geschäftsmodell der Digitalisierung dar. Als Ergebnisse werden die Grundlagen und Herausforderungen des Daten- und Informationshandels zusammengefasst, sowie Anforderungen für zukünftige Marktplätze hergeleitet.
