Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bei vielen wichtigen menschlichen Entscheidung steht eine große Menge an Informationen zu Verfügung. Zur Lösung müssen diese Informationen verarbeitet und verdichtet werden, wobei jedoch auch starke Vereinfachungen in Kauf genommen werden. Durch die immer größeren Datenmengen in Verbindung mit fortschrittlichen Auswertungsmethoden wird es daher zunehmend effizienter, Entscheidungen zu automatisieren. Diese Automatisierung wird durch sog. Automated Software Systems übernommen. Diese automatisierten Software-Systeme, lösen nicht mehr nur hochspezialisierte Aufgaben, sondern übernehmen flexibel und autonom ganze Aufgabenbereiche. Sie ermöglichen dabei durch die Unterstützung Künstlicher Intelligenz völlig, neue Wirkzusammenhänge zu entdecken und auf ihrer Grundlage selbstständig zu agieren. Hierdurch eröffnen sich nicht nur Kostenvorteile bei der Lösung aktueller Aufgabenstellungen, sondern langfristig auch die Erschließung völlig neuer Erkenntnisse. In diesem Beitrag wird zunächst diese Relevanz der Entscheidungsautomatisierung ausgeführt und wichtige Grundkonzepte dargestellt. Anschließend werden aktuelle Trends vor dem Hintergrund der digitalen Transformation/Digitalisierung aufgezeigt. Abschließend werden Konzepte und Anwendungen von Automated Software Systems näher untersucht und kritisch bewertet.
