Abstract

Zusammenfassung In den Kapiteln 6 bis 9 wurde dargestellt, wie die USA, China und Europa die neue Weltordnung sehen und mit welcher Strategie sie ihre Vorstellungen und Interessen durchzusetzen versuchen. Dazu werden zusammenfassende Thesen zur Systemkonkurrenz und feststellbare Trends präsentiert. Danach werden ausgewählte Aspekte der beobachteten Entwicklungen zu drei Szenarien von möglichen neuen Weltordnungen verdichtet: multipolare, heterogene und fragmentierte Weltordnung mit schwachen internationalen Institutionen; Entkoppelung, Abschottung und Innenorientierung, bipolare Weltordnung und multipolare und regelbasierte Welt mit tragfähigen internationalen Institutionen. Im Zentrum der Szenarien stehen die Interaktionen zwischen den USA, China und Europa sowie weiteren Nationen. Das Kapitel schließt mit einer Auswertung der drei Szenarien: Wie sind Konflikt- und Krisenanfälligkeit resp. Resilienz zu beurteilen, wie Integration und Zusammenarbeit resp. Fragmentierung? Welche Möglichkeiten und Chancen bestehen für eine positive Entwicklung? Welche Lehren können daraus gezogen werden?
