Abstract

Zusammenfassung Jährlich erscheinende Legal Directories bewerten Wirtschaftskanzleien in verschiedenen Beratungsfeldern oder Rechtsgebieten sowie einzelne Anwälte in diesen Beratungsfeldern. Neben dem in Deutschland populären „Juve Handbuch Wirtschaftskanzleien“ gehören die ursprünglich aus dem angelsächsischen Raum stammenden Directories von Legal 500 und Chambers zu den renommiertesten Nachschlagewerken. Neben diesen umfangreichen Zusammenstellungen existieren Rankings, wie bspw. das von Handelsblatt in Kooperation mit Best Lawyers erstellte, welche die „Kanzlei des Jahres“, den „Anwalt des Jahres“ sowie die „Besten Anwälte“ in verschiedenen Rechtsbereichen ermittelt. Diese, ausschließlich im Rahmen eines Peer-to-Peer-Verfahrens entstehenden, Rankings sind nicht Gegenstand des vorliegenden Kapitels, da dort ausschließlich andere Wirtschaftsanwälte gefragt werden, welche Wettbewerber sie empfehlen würden.
