Abstract

Zusammenfassung In den vergangenen Jahren hat sich der Einsatz von softwarebasierten Tools zur Prozessautomatisierung etabliert, insbesondere in mittleren bis größeren Unternehmen. Dort findet die Unterstützung vor allem in sachbearbeitenden Bereichen, also überwiegend in den Backoffices und verwandten Unternehmensbereichen statt. Auch in Banken haben die – technisch oft sehr umfangreichen – Tools vermehrt Einzug gehalten. Hier sind sie ebenfalls überwiegend in den Backoffices (Aktiv und Passiv), aber auch im IT- oder Controlling-Bereich und im Rechnungswesen zu finden. Dort werden Tabellen befüllt, Daten von einer in die andere Anwendung übertragen oder digitale Unterlagen geprüft. Diese Prozesse finden regelmäßig vollkommen regelbasiert und nach starren Mustern ablaufend statt.
