Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mit dem Paradigmenwechsel hin zu Veränderungsstrategien ist ein neuer Strategieprozess verbunden. Während der auf der SWOT basierende aktuelle Prozess Strategien aus den aktuellen Stärken und deren Stärkung entwickelt, muss der Veränderungsprozess von einer realistischen Beschreibung der Zukunft ausgehen, und die dafür erforderlichen Fähigkeiten ableiten, die dann im Rahmen strategischer Handlungen aufgebaut werden müssen. Die SWOT erfordert weitgehend stabile Situationen und ignoriert langfristige Veränderungen. Stabile Situationen erfordern aber keine Strategien, sondern die Sicherung des Status quo. Daher ist jede Strategie per Definition eine Veränderungsstrategie.
