Kurzeinführung zum aktuellen Stand der DSGVO

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bezüglich der Widersprüchlichkeit zwischen den Einstellungen der Verbraucher zum Schutz persönlicher Daten einerseits und dem praktischen Umgang beim Bereitstellen personenbezogener Daten andererseits besteht eine breite Basis wissenschaftlicher Erörterungen. Meist wird dies mit dem „Privacy Paradoxon“ beschrieben. Ein entsprechendes Paradoxon besteht aber auch, wenn die Herausforderungen der Datenschutzgesetzgebung mit der Unternehmenspraxis verglichen werden. Erkennbar wird eine Lücke zwischen dem gesetzlichen Rahmen und der Umsetzung in den Betrieben. Vor dem Hintergrund dieses Handlungsbedarfs werden die Grundzüge der Datenschutzgrundverordnung (DSGVO) mit besonderem Bezug zu Marketing und Vertrieb aufgezeigt. Darüber hinaus wird die Struktur der folgenden Kapitel erläutert, in denen im Rahmen von Fallbeispielen die datenschutzrechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen für konkrete Anwendungsbereiche beleuchtet werden.
