Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Kapitel widmet sich theoretischen Grundlagen, um ein besseres Verständnis der Zusammenhänge innerhalb des Finanzmanagements für NPO zu erhalten. Die in dem Kapitel vorgestellten Theorien stammen aus unterschiedlichen Forschungsbereichen, da die sehr unterschiedlichen Herausforderungen des Finanzmanagements selten mit nur einer einzigen Theorie erklärt werden können. Eine juristische Vorbemerkung über den Gemeinnützigkeitsstatus von NPO in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz rundet dieses verbesserte Verständnis ab.
