Abstract

Zusammenfassung Medikamentenresistente Patienten stellen eine Herausforderung für Ärzte und Kostenträger dar. Das Interesse an tiefer Hirnstimulation (THS) als Behandlungsalternative wächst. Weltweit haben sich bereits über 160.000 Patienten einen Hirnschrittmacher implantieren lassen. Konventionelle Geräte haben jedoch ihre Grenzen. Wie kann Künstliche Intelligenz die THS-Therapie kosteneffektiv verbessern?
