Abstract

Zusammenfassung „[…] Nachlasspfleger werden vom Gericht bestellt, machen Erben ausfindig und verwalten den Nachlass. Jährlich sterben rund 850.000 Menschen in Deutschland, die etwas hinterlassen: Angehörige, Vermögen, Schulden. Immer öfter passiert es, dass sich niemand um die Dinge kümmert, die nach dem Ableben eines Menschen geregelt werden müssen. In solchen Fällen – schätzungsweise 20.000 bis 40.000 im Jahr – werden Nachlasspfleger eingesetzt […]“, lautet die zutreffende Einleitung eines Internetbeitrags des Sozialverband Deutschland VDK.
