Abstract

Human rights in the supply chain, plastic in the world’s oceans, climate crisis, balance sheet and tax scandals. Since the early 1970s, the topic of sustainability has been moving humanity. Some people understand this to mean merely ecological sustainability, not to engage in plunder of nature and to use natural resources only to the extent that they regenerate. Win-win solutions are to be created that benefit consumers, businesses and the natural environment. Alternatives are created and provided, e.g.: regionally grown organic food, hybrid cars, wind turbines, recycling-friendly products or use of renewable, natural materials.
