Abstract

Intercultural communication has been gaining importance for some time now due to economic globalization, the internationalization of companies, and cross-border cooperation. The interesting thing about it is: In intercultural communication, various actors from different cultural backgrounds act, who cultivate different behaviors, traditions and values. Consequently, it is to be understood as an exchange and interaction process of thoughts, meanings and feelings by means of symbolic signs or actions (verbal or nonverbal) between individuals, groups or organizations with different cultural backgrounds.
