Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Unternehmensumfeld wird zunehmend VUKA (VUKA steht für Volatilität, Ungewissheit, Komplexität und Ambiguität und beschreibt die in der heutigen Zeit verbreitet vorzufindenden Herausforderungen im Unternehmensumfeld) und Unternehmen reagieren darauf mit der vermehrten Anwendung agiler Methoden. Je weiter sich diese in einem Unternehmen verbreiten, desto mehr reiben sie sich mit den nach wie vor dominanten jährlichen Unternehmensplanungs- und Budgetierungsansätzen, deren Predict-&-Control-Steuerungsmuster der agilen Denkweise diametral entgegenläuft. Der Beitrag beschreibt einen seit vielen Jahren in der Hilti Gruppe praktizierten flexiblen Unternehmenssteuerungsansatz, der ohne jährliche Budgets und Mittelfristpläne auskommt. Auf Basis der langjährigen Erfahrungen werden die Chancen und Herausforderungen der Finanzfunktion, durch den Anstoß eines Wechsels des Steuerungssystems maßgeblich zur Steigerung der organisatorischen Agilität beizutragen, reflektiert.
