Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitales Nutzer- und Kundenverhalten und digitale Technologien bilden zunehmend die Grundlage für neue Geschäftsmodelle. Während etablierte Unternehmen mit langjährigem Kundenverständnis und hervorragendem Produktions- und Forschungs-Know-how punkten, greifen neue digitale Anbieter in der Regel die profitabelsten Produkt- und Dienstleistungsangebote an. Themen wie die Kannibalisierung ihres analog-basierten Geschäftsmodells, die Weiterentwicklung der digitalen Infrastruktur sowie agile Organisationen rücken ins Zentrum. Welche Rolle kommt in der Transformation von Geschäftsmodellen dem CFO zu? Überlässt er diese Themen der operativen Führung oder übernimmt er eine Schlüsselrolle im Transformationsprozess? Als langjähriger CFO berichtet der Autor von seinen Erfahrungen aus globalen Transformationen und schlägt anhand von einem CFO-Toolkit vor, wie sich Unternehmen auf das digitale Zeitalter vorbereiten und die richtigen Transformationsschritte umsetzen können.
