Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die technologischen Entwicklungen im Zuge der Digitalisierung haben die Art und Weise, wie Wirtschaftsakteure interagieren, erheblich verändert, z. B. durch die Verringerung von Suchkosten und von Reibungsverlusten, die massive Zunahme der verfügbaren Informationen und das Auftreten digitaler Vermittler. Die Digitalisierung hat auch zu substantiellen Veränderungen geführt, wie auf Arbeitsmärkten Leistungen nachgefragt, angeboten und durchgeführt werden. In diesem Kapitel konzentrieren wir uns auf die laufende digitale Transformation des Arbeitsmarktes. Dabei fokussieren wir uns auf den stetig wachsenden Markt für Online-Arbeitsmarkt-Plattformen und erörtern die für die Plattformnutzer*innen essenziellen digitalen Kompetenzen. Wir geben einen Überblick über die allgemeine Debatte über die Zukunft der Arbeit und beschreiben das jüngste Phänomen der Online-Arbeitsmarkt-Plattformen. Darüber hinaus gehen wir der Frage nach, inwieweit digitale Kompetenzen und digitales Mindset in Konkurrenz miteinander oder in einem komplementären Zusammenhang zueinanderstehen. Zudem gehen wir auf den Zusammenhang von digitalen Kompetenzen und digitalem Mindset auf der einen und Online-Arbeitsmarkt-Plattformen auf der anderen Seite ein.
