Abstract

Zusammenfassung Volatilität ist auf unabsehbare Zeit das einzig verlässliche Merkmal für die Bedingungen, in denen Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft operieren müssen. Dies hat besonders kritische Bedeutung für die Logistikindustrie, in deren Händen die Versorgung der Bevölkerung liegt. Die Stärkung dieses Wirtschaftszweigs muss daher künftig eine weit höhere Priorität erhalten als dies bisher der Fall war. Es ist eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben für die Unternehmen der Logistik, auf Politik und Gesellschaft entsprechend einzuwirken, damit in den zu erwartenden rauen Zeiten die Leistungsfähigkeit des Versorgungssystems erhalten bleibt.
