Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Zeit seit der ersten Ausgabe dieses Buches war geprägt durch gravierende Veränderungen. Diese wirken sich nicht nur auf die Leistungen von Herstellern wie Zulieferern aus, sondern auch darauf, welche Projekte wie umgesetzt werden. Projektmanagement ist wichtiger denn je. Allerdings hat sich die Rolle geändert, von einem Planungs- und Steuerungstool für die Entwicklung neuer Produkte hin zu einem strategischen Ansatz zur Realisierung der Transformation eines Unternehmens. Dadurch verändert sich auch Projektmanagement selbst. Es reicht heute nicht mehr aus, sich auf den einmal eingeführten Prozessen, Methoden und Tools auszuruhen. Es ist an der Zeit, die Transformation des Projektmanagements voranzutreiben.
