Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Dritte Sektor der privaten Stiftungen, Verbände und weiterer Non-Profit-Organisationen durchläuft einen Paradigmenwechsel. Interessenverbände und Hilfswerke, gemeinnützige Institutionen der Gesundheit und sozialen Integration, der Bildung und Forschung, darstellender Kunst und Kultur, den Vereinen in Sport und Freizeit, den genossenschaftlichen Solidargemeinschaften und -betrieben, den fördernden und operativen Stiftungen, Kirchen und anderen religiösen Vereinigungen sind in vielen Ländern mit veränderten Erwartungen und Rahmenbedingungen konfrontiert, die sie in ihrem Management herausfordern. Die sich über zwei Jahre erstreckenden Einschränkungen durch die Covid-19-Pandemie haben in vielen Bereichen katalysierend auf die Veränderungen gewirkt, aber sie waren nur ein Faktor unter vielen, von denen einige bereits am Ende des letzten Jahrhunderts wurzeln.
