Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Reglement zur Klublizenzierung und zum finanziellen Fairplay (FFP) wurde 2009 von der UEFA aufgrund von teilweise sehr hohen Schulden und enormen finanziellen Herausforderungen bei zahlreichen europäischen Fußballklubs beschlossen und ist im Grundsatz seit der Saison 2010/11 gültig. De facto erst seit dem Erstanwendungszeitpunkt für die Spielzeit 2013/14 müssen Klubs, die sich sportlich für einen europäischen Wettbewerb qualifizieren, neben sonstigen Lizenzierungsanforderungen insbesondere auch finanzielle Kriterien erfüllen. Die Erstausgabe des Regelwerks im Jahr 2010 wurde durch die Ausgaben 2012, 2015 und 2018 angepasst. Mit Wirkung zum 1. Juni 2022 erfolgte eine Weiterentwicklung zu einem UEFA-Reglement zu Klublizenzierung und finanzieller Nachhaltigkeit.
