Abstract

Zusammenfassung Verschiedene Generationen mit unterschiedlichen Kenntnissen und unterschiedlichen Präferenzen hinsichtlich ihrer Lebensqualität und ihren Lebensinhalten, Arbeitszeiten, Arbeitsorte und Arbeitsplatzgestaltung prägen die Arbeitslandschaft – heute und in Zukunft. Diese Arbeitslandschaft verändert sich, technisch und sozial geschieht dies beschleunigt. Den Ängsten der Menschen vor diesen Veränderungen sollten Arbeitgeber angemessen begegnen und den Folgen einer Beschleunigung des Lebens und der Arbeit im Empfinden der Menschen ernst nehmen. Die Flexibilisierung von Arbeitszeiten und Arbeitsorten bleibt auch in Zukunft Thema, auch hinsichtlich der Zufriedenheit und Gesundheit der Mitarbeitenden. Dies stellt das Management vor Herausforderungen und bedingt, neue Strukturen und Organisationsformen in Betracht zu ziehen.
