Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel werden zunächst Ursprung und Wandel der Wortbedeutung von Hybridität und die Verwendung dieser Bezeichnung im Alltag und in einigen Wissenschaften kurz dargestellt. Anschließend wird in einem historisch und systematisch orientierten Überblick gezeigt, wie sich in der Ökonomik die Zuschreibung von Hybridität zu Forschungsrichtungen und Erkenntnisgegenständen entwickelt hat. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf ökonomischen Akteuren und Organisationen. Es wird dargelegt, dass die Kennzeichnung als hybrid nicht immer zutreffend erscheint, sondern eine Folge von rigoroser ökonomischer Begriffsbildung und Analyse sein könnte. Das wird mit Beispielen aus der Literatur belegt, die für das Verständnis der später betrachteten Phänomene und deren teils kontroverse Einordnung als hybrid grundlegend sind.
