Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das neoklassische Grundmodell besticht durch seine schlichte formale Eleganz. Es ist in seinen Grundgedanken sehr klar. Demnach gibt es bei rational handelnden Agenten und freier Preisbildung einen Gleichgewichtzustand für Transaktionen, bei dem keiner der handelnden Agenten einen Anreiz hat, seine Transaktionswünsche zu ändern. Seit Arrow und Debreu ist nachgewiesen, dass ein solcher Zustand im mathematischen Sinn existiert, also logisch widerspruchsfrei denkbar ist. Ein solcher Beweis ist zwar ein großer Erkenntnisgewinn. Es bedeutet jedoch nicht, dass ein solches Gleichgewicht eine korrekte Beschreibung der Realität ist. Der Nachweis einer logischen Existenz ist noch kein Nachweis einer empirischen Existenz.
