Abstract

Zusammenfassung In seinem Beitrag untersucht Stefan Kühl, welche informalen Reaktionen sich auf die Hyperformalisierung in holakratischen Organisationen finden lassen. Dabei geht er von der organisationswissenschaftlichen Erkenntnis aus, dass sich zu formalstrukturellen Festlegungen in der Organisation informale Ausweichbewegungen finden lassen. In den untersuchten größeren holakratischen Organisationen finden sich sowohl Schattenabteilungen als auch Schattenhierarchien, mit denen die Schwächen des holakratischen Organisationsmodells kompensiert werden sollen. Im Gegensatz zu Abteilungen und Hierarchien, die in der Formalstruktur verankert und deswegen besprechbar sind, lassen sich die Effekte dieser Schattenabteilungen und Schattenhierarchien in holakratischen Organisationen nur schwer thematisieren.
