Abstract

Zusammenfassung Was ist eigentlich gemeint, wenn von Diversity Management in HR-Prozessen die Rede ist? Im Einführungskapitel werden zunächst Begriffe wie Diversity, Inclusion und Belonging erklärt und anschließend in den Kontext des Employee Lifecycles eingeordnet. Mit diesem Modell werden alle Stationen eines Beschäftigungsverhältnisses, vom ersten Kontakt mit dem potenziellen Arbeitgeber bis zum Austritt, beschrieben. Innerhalb jedes Abschnitts im Employee Lifecycle wird auf die sogenannten „4P der Ungleichheit“ Bezug genommen, also Prozesse, Policies, Praktiken und die Persönliche Haltung. Das nämlich sind die Stellschrauben, durch die sich eine Kultur der Zugehörigkeit erst erfolgreich entwickeln lässt. Sie müssen stets miteinander vernetzt betrachtet werden. Der so durch das Diversity Management angestoßene Veränderungsprozess ist daher durchaus mit einem langen Atem verbunden.
