Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vom 17. bis 19. Mai 2021 setzte die Berliner Kommunikationsagentur familie redlich die UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development als Online-Veranstaltung um. Vertreter:innen aus Politik, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft kamen mit einem zentralen Ziel virtuell zusammen: nachhaltige Entwicklung in allen Bildungsbereichen besser zu verankern. Ausgerichtet von der UNESCO, dem Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung sowie der Deutschen UNESCO-Kommission, war die Konferenz ein Mammut-Projekt mit mehr als 2800 Teilnehmenden aus 161 Nationen, 260 Speaker:innen, 76 Minister:innen sowie 64 Dolmetscher:innen. Gesendet wurde aus dem bbc Berlin Congress Center. Nach zweijähriger Vorbereitung und wiederholter, pandemiebedingter Umplanung standen fast 50 h Livestream, zufriedene Kunden – und ein ebenso erschöpftes wie glückliches 40-köpfiges Agentur-Team.
