Abstract

Zusammenfassung Bislang habe ich die Interaktionen zwischen allen beteiligten Spielern im Spiel des Lebens – Bürgerinnen und Bürger, aber auch staatliche Akteure – immer so behandelt, als passierten sie simultan. In der Spieltheorie spricht man dann von der Normalform oder der strategischen Form eines Spiels. Dabei werden einige Details ausgeblendet, sodass es so aussieht, als passiere das ganze Spiel zu einem einzigen Zeitpunkt. Die im vorangegangenen Kapitel präsentierten Argumente erlauben aber noch weitergehende Einsichten, wenn wir das Spiel so darstellen, wie es tatsächlich im Zeitverlauf (sequenziell) gespielt wird, also – um den Fachbegriff zu verwenden – in seiner extensiven Form.
