Abstract

Zusammenfassung Durch autonomes Fahren eröffnet sich die Möglichkeit, die menschliche Mobilität, wie Sie bis heute erlebbar war und ist, disruptiv zu verändern. Der Weg zu dem definierten Zielbild eines smarten und vernetzten Verkehrs sowie die damit einhergehenden Herausforderungen der Vernetzung aller Verkehrsteilnehmenden, werden aktuell in der Forschung und Entwicklung angegangen, (vgl. Ertrac in Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility Roadmap, 2021.) um die derzeit (noch) bestehenden Unklarheiten, beispielsweise hinsichtlich der Technik der Fahrzeuge und der Fahrzeugumgebung, zu klären. Eine dieser bestehenden Unklarheiten lässt sich zu einer einfachen Frage zusammenfassen: Braucht autonomes Fahren zusätzliche Unterstützung von der Infrastruktur?
