Abstract

Zusammenfassung Durch das am 16. Juli 2021 verabschiedete Lieferkettengesetz, auch Sorgfaltspflichtengesetz genannt, soll die internationale Menschenrechtslage verbessert werden. Um dieser Anforderung Folge zu leisten, wird mehr Transparenz über die Herkunft von Vorprodukten der Wirtschaftsakteure im unternehmerischen Handeln erwartet. Dabei ist die rechtliche Legitimität eines elektronischen Frachtbriefs (E-Frachtbrief), engl. ‚electronic Bill of Lading‘ (kurz eB/L), von fundamentaler Bedeutung für das Digitalisierungsvorhaben in der Warenwirtschaft.
